Hey, I'm Vanessa - the artist behind Veja Du. After years of creating all kinds of art, i realised the macabre was where i truly felt at home.
I love turning creepy things into something beautiful, strange, colourful, and full of personality. Everything here is handmade by me - usually surrounded by paint, chaos, plaster dust and about ten unfinished ideas at once.
Imperfections, cracks and air bubbles and all. Honestly, that's part of the magic.
Veja Du isn't just art to me.
It's a weird little world built from creativity, darkness, curiosity, and the belief that strange things deserve to be loved too.

Behind Veja Du are Vanessa and Megsy, partners in life, weirdness, and chaos. Mrs Veja Du creates the creatures, Mr Veja Du somehow keeps the madness running, and Snoops, Guardian of the Veil, keeps a watchful eye on whatever wanders through.
Together, we're the slightly strange little team behind Veja Du. Creating, containing, and wondering what will escape through The Veil next.
