Skelly Ducks

This past long weekend I’ve been working on these little Skelly ducks - a mix of cute and creepy, just how I like it.

They start off familiar, but once the bone details come through, they take on a life of their own. I’ve stripped things back with these, focusing on paint and texture rather than embellishments.

Each one is hand-finished and slightly different, which makes them feel a bit more alive ….. in their own strange way.

I love creating pieces that make you look twice- these definitely do that. And you can add our custom skull pad for our Skelly to sit on .
